The Hand That Lived

Today I started my new mini project. At first, I was to create a series of illustrations for childrens books but this soon turned to a more favourable subject of mine- horror novels. This is the first one on my set and is the hand of the monster from the classic Frankenstein book. I drew it in a subtle 4H pencil before applying watercolour paint. I then went over this with a B and 3B pencil to add the extra details.
